Pre-Nursery

In our Pre-Nursery program at Junior Footprints Play Way School, we warmly welcome the youngest learners into a nurturing environment designed to spark their curiosity and joy for discovery. Our approach focuses on sensory exploration, basic social interaction, and the development of fine and gross motor skills. Through age-appropriate activities, play, and gentle guidance, we create a foundation that encourages a love for learning, setting the stage for their educational journey ahead. Our dedicated educators foster a supportive atmosphere where each child's unique qualities are celebrated, laying the groundwork for a positive and engaging introduction to education.

Given those experiences, children are given the opportunity to:

  • Learn to share, work, play and get along with other children

  • Experience separation from parents/family

  • Learn discipline and self-control

  • Learn to follow instructions, and to stay with work until finished

  • Learn to express ideas and feelings in acceptable ways

  • Learn to accept responsibility for one's actions

  • Develop language, pre-reading, pre-writing, pre-math skills (including recognition of colors, shapes, letters, numbers & encouragement to use correct strokes in trying to write letters & numbers)

  • Learn personal grooming and manners, and develop good health habits

  • Develop an awareness and appreciation for God's world and nature
